I am a clinical registrant of PACFA living and working on Wurundjeri land (Naarm/Melbourne, VIC). I have completed a Bachelors in Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Behavioural Science and am an accredited clinician and member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders.

This supervisor has been approved to provide supervision under the ACCESS TO SUPERVISION PROJECT. If you are a supervisee who has received an approval email/letter from the CMHL you may contact this supervisor for supervision for this project, then follow the stated processes for supervision payment.

My experience

I am a lived experience advocate and eating disorder counsellor. I have worked as a peer worker and counsellor in both public and private mental health services. I use a blend of lived experience with clinical intervention in my private practice. I currently work as a Senior Lived Experience Advisor at the Centre of Excellence for Eating Disorders. I am passionate about supporting the lived experience workforce to grow and build confidence in themselves.

My current role/work

I work as a counsellor for people with eating disorders and other mental health issues, using both lived experience and clinical skills. I work as Senior Lived Experience Advisor at the Centre of Excellence for Eating Disorders providing input on secondary consultations, trainings and development of eating disorder services.

My approach to supervision

Empowering clients to see the immense skill and knowledge they bring to their role. Build upon how they integrate their lived experience into their roles, as well as expanding their skills in supporting people and working within a multidisciplinary team. Supporting clients to explore and sit with the difficult aspects of lived experience work, managing difficult workplace dynamics and building a professional identity.
