This supervisor has been approved to provide supervision under the ACCESS TO SUPERVISION PROJECT.

Alex has practiced professional coaching in Australia for 10 years and has amassed thousands of coaching hours. He holds the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential along with other qualifications relevant to LLE workforce development.

Since 2017 Alex has provided independent external supervision for managers of LLE workforce, coaching for LLE workforce and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching for participants of the NDIS.

This supervisor has been approved to provide supervision under the ACCESS TO SUPERVISION PROJECT. If you are a supervisee who has received an approval email/letter from the CMHL you may contact this supervisor for supervision for this project, then follow the stated processes for supervision payment.

My experience

Since 2014, I have held several LLE designated roles including peer support worker (2014 - 2015), MH & LLE training officer (2015-2017), trainer of the Cert IV MHPW qualification with MHCC (2017-2019) / TAFE (2019), lived experience learning coordinator (2018-2019), wellbeing facilitator and trainer (2019 - 2021), LLE leader external supervisor (2018 - present), Psychosocial Recovery Coach (2017 - present).

My current role/work

I currently operate a private coaching and consulting business focused primarily on supporting the development of personal recovery coaching skills for LLEWF and Leaders.

I also maintain currency of Recovery Coaching practice.

My approach to supervision

I bring a coaching background and framework to supervision. I seek to co-create comfortable environments where learning and reflection are the central aspect of establishing focused growth objectives. I believe that through supervision and coaching we are able to maintain best practices, resolve / prevent ethical dilemmas, develop leadership attributes and generate resilience to sustain longevity in LLE careers.
